I managed to gather the money to but my first KM hookah, the amer, which should arrive in the next day or two along with a crown micro phunnel. The Ceramica has also been shipped so I should have a review on that by the end of the week, as well as some assorted tobacco. Bowl Packing

It has occurred to me that it would be a good idea to start a section geared particularly toward newcomers. I will be adding a recommendation page shortly as well as a page specifically geared towards the best ways I personally have found to smoke each tobacco as well as tips on base liquids, foil, and other useful information.

Snags And Future Reviews

In the past week or so since I last posted a number of situations have arisen that have led to less as well as more reviews. It seems that my review of the Khalil Maamoon Ceramica have been put on what almost certainly will be an indefinite hiatus, pending the trader shipping the package. I have however received a number of tobaccos for which the reviews will be posted tonight. I have also placed an order for a couple of items that will also be reviewed shortly as well as arranging a hookah trade with the maker of medwakh.com's premium medwakh pipes who's name is will. I will be trading my Social Smoke Czar for a Khalil Maamoon Trimetal, more details will be posted as necessary. Stem, Dokha, and Moassel

I've been checking my mail box every day for the last 2-3 days and I have yet to receive the package with my Tangiers and Jurak... This annoys me greatly as the package was sent priority mail 8 days ago now, if it isn't here by tuesday the post office is going to receive a less than polite phone call from me. My guess would be that I'll have some new dokha to review by the middle of next week, along with some Nakhla Earl Grey and Nakhla Double apple. The KM that I plan on reviewing will most likely be sent out by UPS tomorrow at some point, I would guess it will get here sometime around friday or saturday of next week.

Recommendations/ Favorites Section


In the next few days I'll be working on a recommendations section, this section will be full of recommended tobacco brands an flavors, hookah recommendations, bowl recommendations, and fairly soon a number of hose recommendations. The section will also feature "not recommended" picks, obviously like every thing else on this page If I have not tried it, I will not mention it... Obviously just because I have mentioned something as not recommended doesn't mean you without a shadow of a doubt will not enjoy it.

I'm just about to head out the door for an appointment that I'm less than enthusiastic to go to. On my way back I gotta stop by the post office and do a few other assorted thing... About 3-4 I should have a couple of packages in the mail. Updates soon, more reviews in a day or two.

KM Ceramica

I've managed to find myself a shiny new KM hookah, I'm fucking ecstatic about getting this thing!!! I've been thinking of getting rid of my briar churchwarden pipe for a while now. I was given an offer of a KM Ceramica for the pipe an thankfully took the offer. I'll have pictures and a review sometime mid next week.

More Dokha, More Moassel, More Jurak

I've recently been conducting a large number of trades with several members of a hookah forum in order to widen my collection and expand my horizons. I'll be receiving quite a few new tobaccos this week that will be up for review. As Christmas closes in on us I'm reminded of the beautiful Khalil Maamoon Trimetal hookah that I will be ordering after Christmas, and also the wonder fully clear pyrex Crown Micro Phunnel I will also be getting. Jurak

I received my order of Jurak from Bassem today, both smell amazing and I can't wait to test them out, the issue I'm having at the moment is lack of decent coals... I refuse to use shitty coals on some of the rarest tobacco known to mankind. If I know Bassem my coals should be here by wednesday or thursday, I'll have a review shortly after the coals arrive.

Fake Three Kings And More Jurak

       As I mentioned earlier this week I received my order from my good friend Bassem at Bestpricedhookahs.com. I noticed that the Three Kings charcoals looked different than usual and their foil packaging did not match up with the last batch that I got. I contacted him today and he was willing to correct his mistake, in fact it seems that he was not aware that the packaging of the coals was incorrect and had been using these fake coals himself for quite some time. He was not only willing to send me a box of Miraculum charcoals but also let me choose from his site a 250g box of tobacco.
       I also have a 50g bag of a bright red Jurak as well as a 100g bag of black "Maher" Jurak on it's way from Bassem, which I should receive on monday or tuesday. The list of these products are as follows and will be reviewed soon after they are received.

Received Pakage

Today I received my package from Bassem at bestpricedhookahs.com along with another package from on of my buddies on hookahpro.com. I will be systematically updating my dokha section as well as my traditional tobacco pages with reviews of what I have received.

Effects of Hookah Smoking

I have decided to take on yet another hookah related project. For this project I will be conducting a number of experiments in relation to the health effects of hookah smoking as opposed to cigarette smoking. I will be conducting tar yield tests, heat tests, and tests related to the classification of hookah smoke as either a smoke or a vapor. I will be compiling a list of these findings and if possible I will publish my work. I am guessing that the project will be completed by mid february. Once compiled and proof read I will go about publishing my findings, a copy will be posted on this blog as soon as I have completed my rough draft.

I received my Medwakh and Dokha from www.medwakh.net about a week ago. Bassem the owner and craftsman behind the site was a pleasure to deal with. All of the Dokha I ordered is wonderful and I have to say that the buzz is quite wicked. I do recommend that if you are looking for a Medwakh or Dokah that you give his sight a consideration. I will have reviews on this wonderful tobacco up soon. I have placed another order with him and will be receiving it soon.

Expanding Horizons

I've recently found much pleasure in smoking shisha, so I've decided to expand outward into the world of Dokha... I've ordered a medwakh starter kit from medwakh.com in order to see what all the buzz is about, reviews will be up within the next few days.

There are may sites out there posting reviews on hookahs, coals, and shisha, I figured I'd follow suit. The problem with may of these larger sites seems to be that its hard to filter through all the bullshit and actually find what is real and what is just people blabbing about what the know nothing of. Each and every tip and review poasted here will be personally tested by me before it is ever reaches your eyeballs...
